Tonight was a fun night. Me and my friends (Janice, Stella, Karina, Kane, Tuna, Iris, Linda, Wen, and Cuong) hung out because we haven’t done it in a while. First stop was a Korean karaoke place in Convoy. Of course, I was happy because it was Korean. 네, 아주 좋아해. LOL. Anyway, it was really loud. Everyone was singing to every song, and it was really fun, well for me it was. I was able to sing a Tagalog song as well. "Dadalhin" by Regine Velasquez.
After spending 3+ hours singing our hearts, lungs, stomachs, brains, etc. out, we headed to In-N-Out to eat those delicious, fatty, and appetizing hamburgers and french fries. It was good, really good. You know how I like food.
Oh, and I also found out that Animal-style french fries is a "secret dish." WOW, I’m so amazed. I didn’t know it’s secret, so shhhh….
Here’s the website for all In-N-Out’s secret dishes, or their so called secret menu:

Start grabbing those eggs!
It was a fun night! Tuna wanted to cook something, like, like, ummm… a FEAST! He picked up Kane, Yen, and Tawny from school, and then we went to Ralph’s to buy food. So for our meals, we prepared meatloaf, salmon with crab meat stuffing, pasta, garlic bread, Yen’s steak marinated in Mesquite sauce, and wine. The wine was gross. Haha. I was never a fan of wine, but I drank it anyway, just a bit though.
It was really good. All the dishes were delicious, and we actually have some leftovers that I will devour in the next few days. :]
Then after the feast, Yen, Kane, and I decided to play the "King’s Cup" game. As usual, it was a lot of fun again. We just had a bottle and a can of beer, and Tuna’s Chardonnay. GROSS. But I still drank lolol. The highlight of the game? AWKWARD TURTLES and DEAD COCKROACHES.

HOW AWKWARD! LOL! Don’t wanna find a picture of a dead cockroach, disgusting, no?
NOW, I’m hungry again, haha. What a fatty. I just want some chocolate-covered strawberries.

AND macarons. Hehe.

Actually, I haven’t tried these before. That’s why i wanna consume it.
Nothing interesting happened to me today. Only had one class, and that’s it.
I saw a squirrel though. I think it was my second time seeing a squirrel. I just wanna chase it.

OM NOM NOM NOM NOM
I’m hungry.
From now on, my blog will be about what happened to me during my day, and reflect on significant things that will help me change my life.
Glad that part is over, I am totally kidding… Well I’ll still write about what happened to me, much like a journal, but blogging… yeah, something like that.
So, this morning, we ended up going to Denny’s for its Free Grand Slam Day. I wasn’t going to go because it was freezing as heck and I was so sleepy. But then my stomach talked to me and we reached an agreement. Tuna, Yen, Tawny, and I left around 5:45, and we got to Denny’s at like 6 or something. The line was so long. It was annoying but I sucked it up just for that free grand slam. There was a lot of old people, and high school students. WOW! These high school students looked like us and most of them were tall. Damn it, I should have drunk milk when I was young, now I regret it. Anyway, we didn’t get our free grand slam until 7:15. It was so good. I didn’t finish my pancakes though ’cause they really make me full easily. Having that tripto Denny’s early in the morning was worth it, even though it was a little bit torturish (due to cold, sleepiness, and annoying long line).

It says "America." I feel like an American, thanks Denny’s!
When me and Tuna got back to our apartment, of course, I had to go back to sleep. Poor Yen, she had class at 9:00, so she couldn’t sleep :]. I mean :[… SO, I had class at 1 right, but then I don’t know what happened, I didn’t hear my 4 alarms (YES, FOUR ALARMS). I woke up at 12: 30. My heart jumped for like 2 seconds, I panicked, (like what I usually do when I think I’m late for class) but it was ok. I realized I had enough time, and did make it on time for my class.
Speaking of classes, my instructors this quarter are HILARIOUS as heck, seriously. The class that I just had was Korean, and there was this worksheet she gave us. After teaching us Korean grammar, she told us to do the practice questions. One question asked, "What would you do if you had 1million right now?," you know what my Korean TA said? Her example was, PLASTIC SURGERY. OMG. If you know how I crack up to funny stuff, that’s how I did it. Another question was, "What would you do if you were invisible?," and she said STALK YOUR CRUSH. LMAO! I died in class. My Korean TA is seriously hilarious.
My Physics professor is one funny man as well. Yesterday, he gave us his most favorite physics question. It goes like this, "A bug lands on a frictionless, spherical head of a bald man. It begins to slide down…" WTH. That was the most random physics question ever (besides the problem about the dead cat). Oh by the way, my professor is bald. I think he was talking about himself. A bug might have really landed on his head, so he had to use physics to calculate stuff. LOL!
That’s the end of this essay, I mean blog. Thanks for reading, Amira (^.~)
For the past few days, even weeks, I have been VERY lazy to blog. I do not know why but I enjoy reading other peoples’ blogs more than writing them. Since I am in the mood to finally make one, here are my thoughts for the day……………… dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot
I LOVE BETTY LA FEA! The Filipino version of the popular Colombian "telenovela" Betty La Fea…. OH YES, i watch the show… Why? Because it’s funny!! Some people may find it cheesy, or lame, but I enjoy watching it. It makes me escape boredom. I recommend it (but you have to know Tagalog to understand it, hehe)!

I always LMAO when i watch every episode
P.S. Sheryn Regis is also included in the cast, she is funny as heck too! I wanna see her again :]
PUTO BUMBONG! So, out of nowhere, I began talking to Janice about this Filipino rice cake that is VERY popular during Christmas season. It is a sticky rice cake colored with purple food dye, topped with shredded coconut, margarine (or butter), sugar, and….. I think that’s about it. It is wrapped in banana leaves.

CRAP! Naglalaway ako!
Puto! Puto! Puto Bumbong! Bili na kayo! I’ll definitely buy some when I go back!
MIRA MESA! Okkkkkkkkk, me and Janice planned to go to Mira Mesa again on the 22nd to feed her some kare-kare. We are planning to go to the Filipino supermarket to buy groceries, bakery to indulge on those ensaymadas, and Target to buy stuff for my apartment. I seriously need furnitures, if not, beanbags will suffice.

Ensaymadas. YUM. YUM. YUM. IN. MY. TUMMY. YUM. My Korean coworker is addicted to this. LOL!

I want a panda piggy bank because panda is one of my favorite animals (the other one is penguin). I like the colors, black and white, ayos no? hehe. But yep, if you know where to buy one, tell me ASAP, I might give you a coin as a "thank you" :]
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST………….

I want something like this, but preferably black. Me and Stella (my Chinese friend) can match… haha
BUT I want a cheap one though, a cheap trench coat that has good quality
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, these are my thoughts for the day, kinda random huh? But hey! at least my brain is still functioning… WORK tomorrow from 8 to 5! damnnnnn, 8-5 everyday! Thankfully (?) my last day is on the 30th.
1. I got my FIRST paycheck today! WOOHOOO!
2. I spoke to my supervisor about my schedule and I was able to change it. San Francisco (and H&M), here I come!
3. I made my checking account (and savings) at Bank of America. Hopefully, cash starts to flow into my account
4. Went grocery shopping at Ralph’s with Janice and Yen. OMG… I almost spent $100+, but thanks to Yen and her Ralph’s card, I save $19, hehe.
5. I HAVE A LOT OF FOOD IN MY PLACE NOW… I think I’m in heaven right now. HALLELUJAH!
Ok, speaking of San Francisco, my family and I are planning to go there on August 29th to September 1st.
I don’t think 3 days is enough, but I know we will have tons of fun there.
Also, there are THREE H&M stores up north, I wonder if I’ll be able to go to at least one of them and shop for at least two pieces of clothing. I need new clothes (not tees). Oh yeah, lately, actually just tonight, I thought of wearing “radical” outfits, LOL… like this:

(minus the man purse and the red pants)
OR THIS:

(minus the man purse, socks, and shorts)
HEHE, what do you think? Yeah? LOL!
