EXCLUSIVE PICTURE INSIDE

HAHAHA. This is so old but since I finally decided to upload the pics in my laptop, let me show you this picture. Nothing special, it’s just that it was random and unexpected.

My dinner when the typhoon hit Hong Kong. LOL

Me and Janice were gonna go get dinner but strangely, all the canteens that we went to were closed. I saw this paper (everything was in Chinese, except the number 8 ) posted by the door of the canteen but we couldn’t understand it. It was “Signal 8.”

Apparently, every time they declare a Signal 8 here, all buildings in campus close down, including the canteens. Since me and Janice did not know that it was Signal 8, we weren’t aware that the canteens were closed so we kept walking and walking, looking for a place to eat. Fortunately, my roommate called me and told me that it was Signal 8. Alas, we finally knew what was happening. LOL.

My umbrella broke that night too :/ Now I REALLY want the “Shit, it’s raining” umbrella.

I got something! No, not the shoes from D-Mop because apparently, it’s only for girls. GOSH. Anyway, here’s what I got:

WOWZA

My favorite version of Paparazzi so far. I really wanna go to her concert.

Another trip to Mongkok. As usual, walked around for street food (sorry forgot to take a picture), browsed for stuff they sell, and eat eat eat.

LADIES’ MARKET:

LANGHAM PLACE:

Don’t really want to make a blog about all the stuff that are happening to me and Janice but let this post be a summary of them random stuff.

~ 12 course meal is so tiring. I actually got tired of eating. It was good though. Very good.

~ I opened a room in Janice’s hostel thinking that nobody was inside. I was wrong. There was a girl. She looked terrified. I looked terrified. Ran to the elevator and cracked up with Janice.

~ Room isn’t that nice. It’s dirty, yes, dirty. There are bugs. Gross. It’s hot. It’s far. Oh well, I’ll get used to it.

~ MTR is so helpful and convenient. You can basically go to the mall everyday. Closest mall from our school only takes around 10 mins.

~ Shuttle route is so confusing. Although it is a necessity. Walking around campus? Not a very good idea. NOT AT ALL.

~ It’s weird how me and Janice wake up so early. I don’t know. It’s not jetlag.

~ Sweat all over. Enough said.

~ It’ll take time to get used to this, but I love Hong Kong. It’s so alive and I don’t think someone will get bored here.

Kinder Surprise. That chocolate egg that encloses a surprise inside.

They don’t sell it in the US because some Act “prohibits embedding ‘non-nutritive items’ in confections.” Thanks Wikipedia! Anyway, surprisingly, no pun intended, I found it in Hong Kong. It costs 6 HKD = some US cents.

What’s the surprise? Find out.

EDIT: VIDEOS ARE ALL PUBLIC NOW. hehe. AOISH

OK, I know, VERY late. Blame the crappy internet connection. Anyway, I think you already know it, but I (and Janice) are in Hong Kong now. I’m gonna post videos instead of pictures since you’ve already seen them on Facebook (I hope).

At LAX:

More vids!
